Hi! I’m Sheri Schofield, an author and teacher specializing in reaching children’s hearts for Jesus. I am president of Faithwind 4 Kids, a children’s outreach ministry.
Children are so precious! I’ve been working with them since my teen years. Child Evangelism Fellowship was a great starting place. I fell in love with teaching children about Jesus as I taught Bible clubs. Later, I studied theology and Christian education of children at Prairie Bible College and BIOLA University, in preparation for spending a lifetime in children’s ministry.
Having two children of my own later on gave me some terrific opportunities to gain first hand experience. Both of my children have grown up to become strong Christians, witnesses in their communities for Jesus.
For the past twenty-five years, I’ve been teaching and writing for the children in our Montana church. I’ve taught most of our kids from the time they were four through age twelve, doing my part in helping them to become strong, Christian leaders.
It has been over forty years now since my first teaching experience! During those years, I’ve learned the secrets of reaching a child’s heart. Now I share those secrets with others through teacher training and through my latest book, The Prince and the Plan, which placed second in the 2019 Golden Scroll Awards for Best Children’s Book of the Year.
